Message from the PAOF Chair
I’m so excited and honored to chair the PAOF from 2021-2024. After 29 years as an active member of the Pan-American Association and 14 years in the Executive Committee, I believe this is the right time to continue serving our beloved organization in this new role.
Message from the PAOF Chair
This is my last message as President of the Pan-American Ophthalmological Foundation which makes it very special. I have mixed feelings, first of joy and satisfaction for having contributed to the development of our Foundation.
Message from the PAOF Chair
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted” said the Greek philosopher, Aesop. By helping each other, we are helping ourselves. By lifting up a family member, friend or colleague, we are lifting up ourselves.

Message from the PAOF Chair
I read an interesting formula recently that said:
Small Actions
x Lots of People
= BIG CHANGE.
This makes me think of the Pan-American and how it represents us.
Message from the PAOF Chair
I would like to thank all the generous donors who are responding to the different fund-raising campaigns that are going on this year. Your generous donations demonstrate your commitment to advancing the Pan-American’s mission...
Message from the PAOF Chair
I know you believe in Pan-Americanism. The Pan-American is about relationships. The PAAO and PAOF have the unique ability to reach across countries and cultures in an incredible mosaic of collaboration.
Message from the PAOF Chair
During the past year, COVID-19 has made a huge impact on our lives and how we interact with each other. As the more serious impacts of COVID are slowly starting to ease, I would like for you to take the time to consider this interaction by honoring one another. The Pan-American Ophthalmological Foundation has a wonderful method of doing this very thing with the Tribute Program.
Message from the PAOF Chair
As I write this President’s Message, I realize that we are entering into a new reality. COVID-19 has changed many things: how we communicate and how we collaborate.
