Message from the PAOF Chair
World Sight Day is an international day of awareness held every October to focus attention on the global issue of eye health. The Pan-American is partnering with the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) for their World Sight Day and their #LoveYourEyes campaign. IAPB says that more than a billion people worldwide do not have access to eye care services.
PAAO and IAPB are organizing two webinars for World Sight Day: one on October 7th and one on October 14th. Top speakers from around the world will be addressing these issues within the Ophthalmological community.
- Click Here to register for the October 7th webinar which deals with myopia, cataract, visual rehabilitation and including public health in residency programs.
