Help identify the Great Challenges in Global Eye Health

On behalf of the Lancet Commission on Global Eye Health, Professor Matthew Burton and Professor Hannah Faal would like to invite PAAO members to participate in a study aimed at identifying the “great challenges” in global eye health.

We hope the results help guide the future prioritization of research projects in eye health. Please share your ideas in this process.

What is involved?
Please answer the following question: What are the major challenges in eye health globally?

A major challenge is “a specific barrier that, if eliminated, would help solve an eye health problem, if implemented successfully, the intervention (s) to address this great challenge would have a high probability of extending the intervention. and get impact. “

The great challenges can be worldwide or nationally, or at the level of an ophthalmological clinic or community. Think about the challenges you see in your daily work and tell us about them.
