Dr. Alice R. McPherson (1926-2023)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an icon. On January 16, 2022, Dr. Alice R. McPherson passed away after a short time in hospice care. She was a pioneer, a humanitarian, an educator and a philanthropist, in ophthalmology, in her field of retina, and in the Pan-American. She will be missed.

Dr. Juan Carlos Abad (1964-2022)

On September 2, 2022, Dr. Juan Carlos Abad passed away suddenly. He was a friend and supporter of the Pan-American for many years. May he Rest in Peace.
